Simplified translation workflows, shared session chats, and a new navigation menu in Greenroom.

Features & Improvements

Template Thumbnails

Admins can now upload thumbnail images for each template saved to their Channel to easily identify each one. Learn more.

Shared Session Chat Across Languages

We’ve added a new toggle that allows admins to use a shared language chat for multi-language sessions (similar to the shared video player toggle). When toggled on, all chats will be translated and displayed in a single, shared feed regardless of the attendee’s individual language selection. Learn more.

Large Reports Sent to Inbox

When generating reports from the admin console with 10k+ rows, the report will now be delivered via email, rather than downloaded directly from the browser. Learn more.

Offline Translation Workflow Column Update

We have added an “Active” (true/false) column in the Offline Translations document indicating whether or not a given element is in use. This will lessen the number of translations needed and simplify the workflow. Learn more.

Greenroom

Top Navigation Menu Update

The top navigation of Greenroom will display a new dropdown menu to indicate and select the mode: Showbuild, Record, and Stream.

Mute State Update

We have removed the automatic feature that previously unmuted presenters as they were brought to the canvas in Greenroom. This will improve the speaker management experience for producers and lessen confusion around muting/unmuting for speakers.

To support this change, we have added a notification that will appear for a presenter if they are speaking while on mute along with a shortcut to unmute themselves. Learn more about presenter audio functions.

Delete Individual Chats

We’ve added the ability to delete individual chat messages in the Greenroom backstage chat. Producers are now able to delete everyone’s chat messages and presenters are now able to delete their own individual chat messages. Learn more.
