Create emails of all types that engage your audience and magnify your brand using our customization options. The emails feature automatically uses your event colors and font to create a template that seamlessly integrates your event’s design, look, and feel.
As you begin to add your content, consider how you can use images and text to support your overall event vision and story. To ensure that your content shines, we recommend you keep your text short and sweet, use subheadings to bolster your message, and design clickable elements to stand out. A clean and organized layout with strategic white space will also guarantee that your image and important information pops on the page.

Invitation emails are an opportunity to make a memorable first impression and share key details: what, when, where, and why prospective attendees should attend your event. This message should grab your reader’s attention, so be sure to include a punchy call to action and use the customization tools to make it stand out with bright colors and text. And as you draft your email, ask yourself: what do your attendees stand to lose if they miss this event? Be sure to mention key learnings, exciting speakers, or networking opportunities.
Remember: you can also send invites more than once. Consider scheduling another invitation email a few weeks after your initial one to prospective attendees who haven’t registered yet.
Change up elements of the email – like a new image, title, and descriptions – to test what’s working and what isn’t. You could even provide a teaser of any pre-recorded content you may have so prospective attendees can’t help but register.
We also suggest sending a day-of invitation email to those who have still not registered. It’s not too late! Even attendees who miss the live event can still watch your content on-demand afterward, so don’t be afraid to advertise it.
All attendees who register for an event will receive a confirmation email (that is, if you choose to toggle this option on). While a confirmation email may not seem as important as the invitation, don’t waste this opportunity to build anticipation for your event. Each email you send should remind your audience what they’ll gain from attending and affirm their decision to attend. Consider adding a link to a downloadable calendar hold for attendees to easily add the event to their calendar.
Remember: the key to success is providing value in every email. What additional information can you share about each session or event? Are there documents attendees can view ahead of time? Perhaps they can submit a question prior to a panel interview. Be sure to let your audience know!
Session reminder emails help keep your audience engaged in the days and weeks leading up to your event. Don’t be shy in sending these out! We recommend using the scheduling feature to send session reminder emails one week out, one day out, and even one hour out from your event start time. This will help to increase the number of attendees that join the event live.
Reminder emails are especially important for multi-day and multi-session events. Scheduling your reminder emails ahead of time ensures a drumbeat of comms to help keep attendees informed and engaged. This goes for live event reminder emails, too, as you’ll want to be sure to inform your audience as soon as a session starts. Even with a calendar hold, it’s easy to get caught up in projects or a meeting that’s run over. Live session reminders – ones that are sweet, short, and to the point – provide a quick reminder and easy way to join the event.
Once your live session has ended, be sure to share your on-demand content. These types of messages assist in engaging registered attendees that couldn’t make the live event. Also consider adding a shareable link in this email for attendees that attended live to pass on to colleagues or friends that might enjoy your content – this is a simple, easy way to expand your reach.
Finally, think about sending one last invitation email to members of your audience list that never registered. While they may have missed the live event, they can still enjoy your on-demand content at a time that’s convenient for them.
